Mesh San Francisco is a new annual Mesh Community event to connect the rising stars of the Nordic startup ecosystem with the Nordic establishment in San Francisco, and the local SF investors. It is an invite-only event for founders, investors, and executives.
We invite participants to join a creative and informal programme together with our friends at the renowned Shack15 and our network of SF located investors and successful founders.
We create a personal atmosphere accommodating high quality networking and a good frame for deep discussions on complex topics.

We invite family offices, endowments & foundations, institutional investors, and HNWIs to connect with the top tier of international venture, including American megafunds, European leaders, and the most active Nordic funds.
LP/GP is a closed-door format for direct conversations about market trends, capital deployment, fund strategy, and ecosystem growth.
As American tech continues to dominate and European and Nordic venture scales rapidly, these sessions offer a space to compare approaches, align interests, and build strong investor–founder networks.

On April 21, 2026, we brought together family offices, endowments and foundations, institutional investors, and HNWIs at Mesh Youngstorget for a highly curated LP/GP gathering.
The programme convened American megafunds, European leaders, and the strongest Nordic VCs, collectively managing over $100B in AUM.
The lineup included His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, alongside Erna Solberg, Tommy Ahlers, Bastian Hasslinger (Index Ventures), Kelly Kung (Accel), Alex Lim (IVP), and other leading voices across the global venture ecosystem. Conversations focused on European venture opportunities and the growing bridge between the Nordics and Silicon Valley.
We look forward to returning in 2027.
Mesh x TechBBQ

The night before TechBBQ officially begins, Matrikel 1 is the host of the official TechBBQ pre-party. With over 800 attendees and 1200+ on the waiting list for our 2025 event, we can only imagine what 2026 will be like.

For our Nordic Founders’ Dinners in San Francisco we team up with partners such as Shack15 and Andreessen Horowitz to host top Nordic founders in the Bay area.
The dinners confirmed our thesis; there is both need and a momentum for the Nordic ecosystem at the moment but better connections across + SF is needed. Something we doubled down on for our flagship event Mesh San Francisco.
Mesh x Oslo Innovation Week
September 2026
The hub of Nordic innovation, Oslo Innovation Week unites over 80 events hosted by Norwegian and international incubators, investors, and the startup ecosystem, all focused on real solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals.
In partnership with Mesh Community, Oslo Innovation Week brings valuable events, parties, and networking opportunities to our community. Mesh Oslo serves as a key venue for activities throughout the week.

Mesh serves as the HQ for OIW, featuring a multitude of events, parties, and meetups throughout the week. We help members in hosting, connecting and engaging with the ecosystem.
