Activities
-
Hosted by Creandum
We kicked off the weekend with a surf session at the Traveler Surf Club in Pacifica — the perfect way to start the San Francisco experience.
-
Hosted by Spintop & ACME
On a very Nordic-meets-SF morning, we gathered at Alchemy Springs — San Francisco’s largest and coolest sauna — for a few hours of heat, cold, and connection. Between sauna sessions and cold plunges, we slowed down and recharged in the sauna garden.
-
Hosted by Inception Fund & byFounders
Guided by Eric from byFounders, we spent a sunny Sunday afternoon crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and hiking through the trails of Golden Gate National Park — the perfect place to share reflections and insights from the SF and Nordic startup ecosystems.
-
Hosted by NEA & Kinnevik
50+ founders and investors set out for a scenic bike ride along the Bay — starting from SHACK15, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, and looping through the city’s waterfront. A relaxed ride on a sunny Monday morning that turned into great conversations and the kind of memories you don’t easily forget. -
Hosted by Mesh Collective
Each day before sunrise, we started with a morning run along the SF Bay Trail — meant for early birds, but it ended up attracting many more than we expected.

Mesh San Francisco took place right before Tech Week, bringing together the top founders, funds, and companies from around the globe, making it the ideal moment to gather in SF. Many attendees kept the conversations going during Tech Week at different private events around The Bay.

On Sunday evening — after a day of surfing and hiking — we officially opened Mesh San Francisco 2025 with a welcome dinner at SHACK15, hosted by IVP and Khosla Ventures.
We were hosted by Ben Horowitz for lunch at a16z’s San Francisco headquarters, where he shared perspectives on the future and potential of the Nordic startup ecosystem.
Hosted by NEA, Khosla Ventures, and ACME, the rooftop at Hotel VIA brought together leading VCs from the Nordics and San Francisco. A sunny Monday afternoon filled with open conversations, shared perspectives, and a sense of alignment across the Atlantic.
On Monday evening, we hosted six parallel dinners at SHACK15, led by some of the Nordics’ top VCs — Node, Luminar, Snö, Sandwater, Alliance, and Frumtak.
After the Founders Dinners at SHACK15, we continued the night across South Park, where Kleiner Perkins, General Catalyst, and SHACK15 turned their offices into bars for the evening. Josh, Vedant, and Jørn hosted us for drinks and conversation before we made our way to the closing afterparty at Jax.
After the VC Bars, we headed to Jax Vineyards’ tasting room in South Park, where DNB Carnegie hosted the closing party for Mesh San Francisco. With Carl from Creandum behind the decks and plenty of Californian wine flowing, the night turned into a perfect mix of laughter, music, and connection.
We also handed out the Mesh San Francisco MVP medals to a few standout members who made this first edition truly special — the best possible way to wrap up Mesh SF 2025.
